We are growing and currently in search of a Mechanical Design Engineer to enhance our Engineering team.

JOB SUMMARY:

• Use CAD design principles to provide efficient solutions for products design.
• Create models, drawings, Bill of Materials, job travelers and prepare production drawings.
• Prepare cost estimates for product to determine price of product for quotations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Create solid models and detailed designs to customer specifications and according to existing design parameter.
• Produce detailed manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks SW suite.
• Produce Bill of Material (BOM) and router using ERP software.
• Assists in the design & development of standard and custom products.
• Develop and improve documents and presentations for customers.
• Interact with customers on technical questions.
• Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for quotations.
• Able to discuss and resolve design/drawing problems with manufacturing.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Must have 3D drafting experience.
• Proficient using Solid Works software on a daily basis such as Solid Works CAD, PDM and Driveworks required.
• Proficient in using ERP software a must.
• Must be U.S. person, eligible to work with export controlled documents.
• Demonstrated capacity to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable with deadlines and enjoys working in a fast paced, growing organization.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills.
• Experience with U.S. military (MIL-STD) standards a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $68,000.00 per year
