Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group has partnered with a national scientific association to find a Lead Business Analyst. This is a contract role that is fully remote! The Analyst is responsible for gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and system requirements.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Acquire/translate requirements into design and implementation for a complex system
• Thorough understanding of the data model, implementation, data collection tools, and data distribution systems
• Document the requirement specifications, user stories, use cases, data flow, boundary conditions, exception, test, and acceptance criteria in a clear and precise manner
• Storytelling – communicate the message through presentations or document walkthroughs
• Manage meeting notes and track action items with participants
• Run reports for the developed application and provide insights to the stakeholders
• Provide well-written solution communications (clear & concise) for stakeholders
• Assist in project planning and provide business systems analysis on the front end of projects

Qualifications/Background Profile:

• 
  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in at least one of the following roles: Product Owner, Product Manager, Project Manager, or Business Systems Analyst
• Experience with requirements and UI/UX management tools, such as Atlassian Suite
• Experience using Microsoft Visio, draw.io, or any other diagramming tool
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Familiarity with the capabilities/uses of JIRA, Confluence, prototyping, wireframes, Java, SQL, and business intelligence tools desired
• Certifications: PMI-PBA or CBAP is a plus (not required)
