Reporting to the Store Manager & Owners, the Assistant Kitchen Manager provides exceptional service Catering and quality products for our customers.

Physical Requirements:

Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs., reaching, turning, equipment operation (ovens, mixers, meat slicer, scales, racks), walking, standing, math, writing, judgment/decision making, social skills/verbal interaction.

Responsibilities

• Follow Set recipes and measurements for products we produce.
• Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• People person to work off premise at events with general public.
• Ability to think on the fly and\or creatively.
• Kitchen, Cooking and Food Prep experience a definite plus.
• Fry and\or Expedite Friday Fish Frys on Friday nights if possible.
• Work as Team with a Variety of Personalities
• Cooking Ready to Eat Meats for the Retail Store.

This person assists clients at catering events by:

• Setting up Buffet Lines at events.
• Assisting with plates or people, which will also earn you more tips.
• Letting clients know what ingredients are in products and what allergens may exist.
• Responding to customers’ questions.
