Insurance Commercial Lines Account Manager/CSR

Independent insurance agency seeking a licensed commercial lines insurance account manager. Account Manager will respond to commercial client inquires about policy and coverage questions. Responsible for providing timely and professional day-to-day client service.

Responsibilities:

• Provide continuous client service
• Research and compile answers to client policy and coverage questions
• Initiate relationships with and communicate with client decision makers and insurer personnel
• Work Closely with both Admitted and Non Admitted Insurance Carriers
• Create certificate and auto identification guidelines for certificate center issuance
• Identify, compile and manage information regarding account renewal
• Request, install and implement policy changes and prepare new and renewal business submissions

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of insurance industry experience related to servicing accounts
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent retail agency experience
• Property and Casualty license
• Hawksoft Agency Management Experience Preferred
• Knowledge of Insurance and/or Brokerage business
• Technical knowledge of product area or industry
• Ability to provide consultation and expert advice to management on risk management issues
• Must be able to cross-sell and advise on new product offerings
• Knowledge of computer software packages, including Word and Excel
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
