Information Systems Technician

Title: Information Systems Technician

Reports to: Manager of Information Systems

Supervision Exercised: None

Typical Working Conditions: Occasionally lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications: Certification /Degree in Information Systems preferred or 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.

Primary Function: Maintains and plans for all implementation of Information systems.

General Duties:

· Plan, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot all aspects of FHN networks (including LAN, WAN, VoIP) including file servers and email.

· Develop and maintain FHN website.

· Develop and execute data backup plan for organization as approved by Senior Management.

· Provide training to assigned individuals to serve as backup IT staff for coverage.

· Provide in-service trainings to all FHN employees as needed.

· Plan, implement, maintain and troubleshoot servers.

· Ensure with Chief Financial Officer that all equipment is inventoried.

· Serve as primary hardware/software support contact (excluding PMS/EHR) for Family Health Network.

· Serve as secondary software support for PMS/EHR system. Serve as backup EHR account manager.

· Assist in maintaining and evaluation of the organizations compliance with all regulations (i.e. HIPAA, SOX, etc.).

· This position requires compliance with Health Center’s written standards, including its Standards of Conduct and policies and procedures pertaining to all operational aspects, furthermore this position is required to report any suspected instances of noncompliance.

· This position will function as a contributing member of the emergency preparedness team under the incident command system

· All other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
