Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, trouble-shooting, and decommissioning of computer components
- Strong network connectivity trouble-shooting
- Technical writing and documentation
- Maintaining a working knowledge of networking, user and file security, phones, servers, backups, group policies, login scripts, software distribution technology, remote connectivity, and remote client support
- Monitor the help-desk phone and support end-users as needed
- Monitor and assist with system back-ups
- Track and document all help-desk tickets
- Provide rotating on-call and end-user support
Requirements
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related experience; or equivalent experience
- Other related IT certifications (A+, Microsoft Certified Professional, etc.) are a plus
- Familiarity with VOIP, SIP, EHR systems, databases preferred
- Experience with project management practices
- Familiarity of HIPPA privacy and security and accounting software a plus
