Duties and Responsibilities:

• Administer Basic First Aid/MFR patient care
• Daily support of the facility with the implementation of HSE policies, standards, and procedures based on regulatory and internal requirements
• Foster a proactive and positive plant safety culture
• Complete daily walkthroughs of the entire plant
• Complete Visual Emissions/daily reporting
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly safety inspections and audits
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Emergency and medical first responder skills. Successful candidate must be willing to complete Medical First Responder (MFR) training and Confined Space/ Rope Rescue
• Familiar with company safety policies and applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with public speaking ability a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to conduct training.

Preferred Qualifications

• Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) licensed candidate is preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations
• Knowledge of Incident Command and Emergency Response
