NOW HIRING:

At Snohomish 911 Driving School we are seeking a reliable, organized office staff to join our new to area driving school. In this position, you will assist in daily operations and clerical tasks. You should possess incredible multitasking and organizational abilities. Office Staff members need to be comfortable in human relations and have great interpersonal skills. Customer service needs to always be the number one priority of the Office Staff. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and customer service focus are a must.

Office Staff Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure an organized, clean, and tidy workspace
• Monitor and use office equipment and materials (computers, printers, fax machines, copiers, physical files, etc.)
• Complete basic bookkeeping and record keeping duties
• Answer phones, direct calls, take and deliver messages as needed
• Help to immediately resolve and mediate customer complaints
• Arrange and schedule student drives, instructors, meetings, appointments, and events for management.

Office Staff Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Must have strong interpersonal skills and a cheerful attitude.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Must have high stress threshold, good physical stamina and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Maintain clean, neat appearance and good personal hygiene.
• Abide by all company policies and procedures.
• Must be technology savvy and able to evolve with technology
• Must have the ability to adapt to change in a positive manner
• Confident using office machinery (printers, fax machines, photocopiers, etc.)
• Fast and proficient typist
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; excellent customer service skills
• Bilingual preferred but not required

Nice to Have

• Previous office experience and understanding of office procedures and processes a major plus but not a requirement. Some college preferred but not required.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour:

Non-benefitted position. Employees earn paid sick leave at current L&I rate.
