Responsibilities:

  • Assist process engineers to conduct printing experiments, conduct routine printer maintenance, troubleshoot and repair printers as well as ancillary equipment.
  • Use commercial software such as Solidworks, Autodesk NetFabb, and Materialise Magics to support process engineers to prepare printing files.
  • Assist systems engineers to monitor and upkeep lab facilities.
  • Assist systems engineers to manage printing related lab supplies.
  • Assist materials engineers to post process and characterize printed samples.
  • Assist application engineers to develop and analyze printing applications.
  • Assist engineers on documentation.
  • Assist engineers on procurement.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate and graduate students in engineering disciplines.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Work effectively with cross functional and multidisciplinary team environment.
  • 90% work is carried out onsite.

Preferred Competencies:

  • Experience in designing mechanical parts.
  • Hands on experience in building mechanical prototype systems.
  • Experience in operating industrial equipment.
  • Experience in working with thermal, flow and pressure, and motion systems.
  • Experience in programming using MATLAB, Python, etc.
  • Experience in optical and laser systems.
