Job description:
Develop hardware and software systems for real-time optical acquisition, tracking, and beam control systems. Participate in a development team making contributions to the hardware and software design and implementation of systems that employ state-of-the-art high-speed real-time hardware and software processing.
Qualifications:
Minimum: BS or MS in computer, software, or electrical engineering field or equivalent experience. Strong software and/or hardware engineering background. Desired: Experience with real-time embedded systems working with optical sensors and control equipment. Experience with beam control, acquisition, tracking, and pointing hardware and software. Experience with real-time operating systems, FPGA, and GPU programming. Experience with National Instruments, Zedboard, and Xilinx FPGA equipment.
