We’re just getting started. BlockChyp has the most cutting edge technology in payments and it’s time the world knew. We need a driven marketing strategist to take charge of the brand and the marketing message on day one. They’ll assume nothing. They’ll get to know the product and the market inside and out before drawing any conclusions. They’ll learn as much as they can, far more than they need to. They’ll tailor the marketing strategy accordingly to make it powerful, targeted, and authentic. Cookie cutter digital marketing campaigns won’t cut it here.

The ideal candidate has a background in B2B marketing for high tech products, especially APIs or products aimed at developers with a track record of high and measurable results. Fintech or Point of Sale experience may be helpful, although we prefer candidates without previous exposure to the payments industry. This is an executive track position and the ideal candidate should be capable of maturing into a C-Suite level executive fairly quickly.

The role is a full time position with competitive salary, generous benefits, and a stock options package. We prefer Utah based candidates prepared to work on site in order to ensure seamless collaboration with the product team, but we’ll consider remote work arrangements for truly exceptional candidates. Remote candidates will be expected to travel to the home office in Utah regularly.

Required Qualifications:

• Four year degree in a business, quantitative, or technical field.
• Five years of experience in a high tech marketing position, particularly in an API based business model.
• Must be ambitious and driven, insatiably curious about the product you’ll be marketing.
• Experience developing branding guidelines and working with creative agencies.
• Experience planning and executing trade show exhibitions.
• Experience placing earned media pieces in the technical and trade press.
• Extensive experience with video production.
• Experience coordinating digital media campaigns.
• Must be comfortable working with politically sensitive industries and customers (like firearms).
