Hospital District #1 of Rice County is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital with 2 rural health clinics. The Director of Human Resources is responsible for leading the organization's human resource plans and procedures. The position provides leadership and guidance on all local, state, and federal employment laws and regulatory compliance. The Director oversees the bi-weekly payroll process and ensures all required benefit programs are in compliance. Facilitates and tracks the completion of benefit election forms for all employees within the organization. Develops and maintains the facilities personnel policies and procedures. In coordination with the organization's Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Human Resources reconciles payroll accounts and completes monthly and year end reports. The successful candidate must have a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 5-10 years managerial/supervisory experience in Human Resources required. In-depth knowledge of HR laws, policies, and regulations required. Generous benefit package and salary is commensurate with experience.
