Fristam Pumps USA, a leading manufacturer of pumps and mixers for the food, dairy and pharmaceutical industries located in Middleton, has an excellent opportunity for a highly-organized, self-motivated individual to join our team as a Design Engineer. This hands-on position will be responsible for leading design projects from inception to completion for new or special products through conducting critical and complex research on designs.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Establish engineering concepts and organize plan for research, development, design and integration into production
• Research and design new products according to ISO 9001-2000 design project procedures
• Create programs or recommend programs for the aid of designing new products
• Aid in developing and accurately maintaining engineering documentation including drawings, change notices, and procedures
• Troubleshoot problems in manufacturing area and find solutions to eliminate those problems
• Provide engineering support to all areas of the company

What You Bring with You (Qualifications/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in pump manufacturing, sanitary applications, or similar environment.
• Previous experience designing pumps or rotary equipment desired
• Demonstrated initiative and leadership through present and past job duties, projects, and assignments;
• Possess clear, confident communication, both written and verbal, with a variety of people; and
• Demonstrated capability to initiate and complete projects and plans on-time.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
