Anesthesia Management Services/ASA Staffing Associates is seeking nurse anesthetists to work at an Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) in Southfield, Michigan. Great friendly work environment, collaborative team work and work-life balance.

The CRNA will be a vital part of the anesthesia team in the preparation of patients for anesthesia, its administration, and the post-operative care for adults and children. The team is comprised of an Anesthesiologist and Nurse Anesthetists.

Responsibilities in safe anesthesia care include but are not limited to:

• Performance of pre-operative evaluation
• Delivery of pre anesthetic medication
• Administer general anesthetic and adjuvant drugs
• Monitor patients receiving regional anesthesia
• Administer IV sedation cases
• Noninvasive monitoring, airway management and management of hemodynamic status.
• Post anesthesia care
• Collaboration with anesthesia providers

Anesthetics delivered in various surgical procedures including

• General Surgery
• Orthopedic
• ENT
• Podiatry
• Gynecology

Qualifications:

• A baccalaureate or graduate degree in nursing.
• License as a Registered Nurse and Specialty license as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in the state of Michigan.
• Graduation from a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.
• Certification or Recertification by The National Board on Certification of Nurse Anesthesia, NBCRNA
• BLS and ACLS certification

Shift:

• 8-10 hour shifts available Monday - Friday
• Flexible 3-5 day work week
• W2 or 1099 employment available
