Channeled Resources Group is a privately-owned company that is a growing leader in the labeling/coating industry.

Channeled Resources Group is looking to add to our family an experienced Cost Accountant to support and assist the Plant Controller in compiling, analyzing, improving, and developing conclusions and actionable plans on all matters relating to our accounting processes and standard cost system. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, analytical, have strong interpersonal and communication skills, organized and detailed oriented, have intermediate technical skills and experiences working with an ERP system in a manufacturing environment. Salary will be based on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and improve current cost accounting systems and processes for various divisions and product lines.
• Supervise accounting team and assist in mentorship, training, and development of employees.
• Daily tracking, analysis, and reporting of throughput and wastes, materials and labor variances on production jobs.
• Monthly and yearly physical inventory count.
• Review and analyze purchases, freights, and overhead costs variances on a daily and monthly basis.
• Assist in accounts receivable and payable as needed
• Coordinate activities and share results with various supervisors and managers on a daily basis.

Requirements:

• Minimum Associates degree in accounting or finance (Bachelor degree in accounting or finance, desired but not required)
• Minimum 2 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experiences working with ERP systems
• Intermediate technical skills
• Non-remote (allowed in emergency or bad weather with supervisor approval)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
