Catawba Pediatric Associates, P.A. is currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team! We are a fast-paced practice and we have an awesome team!

Candidates must enjoy working and interacting with children of all ages as well as their families.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• obtaining medical histories for sick and well visits
• prepare and administer immunizations to children of all ages
• performing or assisting with various procedures such as EKGs, circumcisions, sutures, ear lavages, and catheterizations
• administering medications and injections
• collecting specimens, patient education
• completing forms

The position is full time, four 8 hour days (some days may be longer than 8 hours), one late night evening per week, and every 3-6th weekend

Skills

• Proven working experience as a medical assistant or medical secretary
• Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Social perceptiveness and service oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
