KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work with users to collect, validate and document data, requirements, and reporting needs.
  • Create documentation in support of business and technology requests (includes business/data requirements, data flows, data modeling, workflow context and design, and user interface designs).
  • Facilitate implementation of business requirements for all technology initiatives by acting as a liaison between business users and development resources for both large and small-scale changes.
  • Provide continuous evaluation of technology solutions and capabilities to ensure alignment with business objectives. Identify areas of risk, while monitoring the current environment, potential improvement areas, and the financial implications of those decisions.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and provide system training / documentation.
  • Manage requests from finance teams in relation to the treasury systems
  • Plan, document and implement enhancements to existing/new systems from inception to implementation (SDLC)
  • Engage with end users to solve unique solutions and come up with novel ways to solve problems
  • Interface with vendor resources to complete projects
  • Manage a multitude of competing priorities and setting expectations with stakeholders
  • Respond to critical issues in a timely manner by identifying the issue and implementing a solution
TECHNOLOGY EXPERIENCE:
  • Previous exposure to treasury management systems such as GTreasury, FIS, Bellin, HazelTree, Reval etc is required
  • Prior exposure to FX hedging tools like Kyriba a plus
  • Prior exposure to cash projection reporting a plus
  • Knowledge of SWIFT (MT Messages/ISO20022 standards) network
  • Knowledge of ABA / ACH payments
  • Previous experience with maintaining/implementing SaaS platforms
  • Previous experience with building or maintaining integrations between platforms (APIs)
  • Exposure to iPaaS tools like Workato or Mulesoft a plus)
  • Experience with reporting platforms/BI tools (Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience with relational databases (able to write queries & stored procedures)
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelors or advanced degree in computer science, systems and/or finance
  • 3+ Years of overall experience
  • Master’s Degree with concentration in technology preferred
  • 2+ years of experience implementing and supporting Treasury/ Cash management solutions
  • Experience implementing and supporting FX hedging solutions a plus
  • Experience with SQL, reporting and visualization tools a plus
  • Experience with investment management, private equity, venture capital, alternatives investment / finance concepts / terminology and systems a plus
  • Experience with a functionally diverse, informed user base that demands high quality solutions
  • Self-motivated and willing to work, learn and take ownership in an energetic, fast paced team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and iterations with several applications simultaneously
  • Ability to perform various roles (e.g., business analyst, systems analyst, data analyst, product manager)
