Bookkeeper - Big Island, Hawaii - Kona or possibly Hilo

Carbonaro CPAs has an opening for full-time work as Bookkeeper for our office in Kona. We are looking for detailed-oriented, reliable, highly organized individual who is able to work well with others. The ideal candidate will have opportunity for advancement.

Our Firm has grown every year for 28 years with offices in Wailuku, Hilo & Kona. Therefore, if you want to continue your career in bookkeeping with the ability to move up in a growing CPA Firm in Hawaii, our Firm is a good fit.

Responsibilities include but not limited to, as a Full charge accounting:

• Accounts Receivable
• Accounts Payable
• Journal entry in general ledger
• Bank reconciliation
• Payroll & payroll tax filing – monthly, quarterly & annual reporting
• Prepare Financial reports
• Prepare general excise tax filing
• Assist with administrative duties in the office

The ideal candidates must possess:

• Accounting Degree or 2 -3 years’ fullcharge bookkeeping experience
• Knowledge of QuickBooks or online QuickBooks
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
• Must be able to communicate well with team and clients
• Be a quick learner
• Self-motivated and work well with a team
• Highly organized
