Copier & Office Equipment Sales Representative
Position Summary:
Currently seeking an experienced business to business salesperson to fill an opening for Account Manager selling copiers, office equipment and office services. This is a local road sales position in Guernsey, Muskingum and Belmont Counties selling in person with no overnight travel. This is a salary plus commission pay structure.

Hughes Office Equipment sells Xerox print equipment, Canon wide format printers as well as other office products.

Primary Responsibilities:

In this position the chosen candidate will.

  • Communicate with non-customers and customers face to face, by phone and email to sell office equipment
  • Determine customer needs, calculate the financial components of and present proposals
  • Demonstrate equipment and software
  • Maintain a large base of qualified prospects
  • Close business and provide after sale training

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be organized and possess the self-discipline to follow through with long sales cycles
  • Be personable with an outgoing personality and excellent appearance
  • Demonstrated natural verbal and written communication/presentation skills
  • Demonstrated solid time management skills & attention to detail
  • Have a strong work ethic and self-motivation
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office a must
  • Proven self-starter who can take rejection, develop relationships, and close sales
  • Must be results oriented and driven to succeed
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Successful sales experience in business-to-business sales within our industry or related industry
