Qualifications

• Current Alabama Security Regulatory Board (ASRB) Armed Security License (Required) Unless APOST Certified
• Current Driver's License (Required)
• Current Pistol Permit (Required) Unless APOST Certified
• High School or Equivalent (Required)
• Reliable transportation /w valid insurance (Required)

Experience

• Armed Security: 2+ years (Required)
• Law Enforcement: 2 years (Preferred)
• Military: 2 years (Preferred)

Requirements

• DEPENDABLE!!!!!!
• Armed Security Officer candidates must posses their own duty weapon (full size handgun subject to approval)
• Armed Security Officer candidates must understand and comply with Workable Solutions values and operating standards.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and written.
• Candidates must be physically able to carry out Armed Security Officer Duties.
• Candidates must be 21 years of age or older.
• Be able to pass a Criminal Background Check and Drug Screening.
• Available to work any shifts
• Ability to handle crisis situations at the client's site, calmly and efficiently.
• Neat and professional appearance (No dreads or braids/No long beards for males) (No colorful hair, long nails or fake eyelashes for females)
• No facial piercings (nose, lip, eyebrow, etc.) or Tattoos on neck or face

Duties and Responsibilities

Are you a customer focused individual? Workable Solutions has Armed Security jobs and are seeking to fill part-time positions with Professional Armed Security Officers.

Candidates must be service orientated and able to carry out the demands of Specific security positions.

As a Professional Armed Security Officer for Workable Solutions, you will be responsible for the security and safety of our client's property and personnel.

Duties include but are not limited to complying with client post orders/instructions, crime identification, prevention and reduction.

• Patrolling and securing the area.
• Guarding valuables in a secure area.
• Protecting the company's assets relative to theft, assault, fire and other safety issues.
• Responding to alarms and emergencies.
• Communicating any irregularities with management.
• Keeping an incident report record.
• Checking visitors in and out of the areas.
• Escorting visitors around the premises.
