Title: Armed Security Officer

Location: San Juan, Puerto Rico

Duration: Part-Time

Travel: None

Shift: Must be flexible to work holidays, weekends and multiple shift options.

MVM, Inc. is seeking ICE Armed Security Officers to provide security, transportation, meals, ground services, and site maintenance to the facility.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Provide services to include security, transportation, meals, ground services and site maintenance
• Ability to respond to respond quickly in emergency situation
• Ability to communicate clearly in both English and Spanish
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Employees may be assigned to overnight, weekends, or holiday shifts to support 24/7 operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice preferred
• Three (3) years of security experience in the last five years (5) or three (3) years of military experience OR completion of a state certified Law Enforcement Education and Training Course
• Native or near native oral and written communication skill in English (as measured by performance on a language proficiency exam
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Valid Firearms License in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico
• Valid Security Guard License in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico
• Available to work a flexible schedule to include night shifts and weekends
• Local to Puerto Rico.

• Successfully passing a background investigation

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate and coordinate with contract employees, staff members, senior managers, consultants and clients
