WHAT MAKES YOU A FIT:

The Technical Part:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Industrial Chemistry & one (1) year of exposure within the Pharmaceutical Industry.
• Shift: 1st shift, must be available other shift if needed, including weekends and holidays
• Bilingual (English and Spanish)
• Experience in:
  • Laboratory investigations and deviations
  • Analytical data collection
  • Laboratory equipment: UV-Visible, FTIR, HPLC, GC, CE, TOC, Atomic Absorption, Scanners, Micro Plate readers
  • QC SOP’s, cGMP’s, federal and other countries regulatory requirements
  • Raw Materials, and Wet Chemistry, Compendial and Non Compendial Methods

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

• Perform testing for raw materials, packaging components, intermediate products, finished products, and ILQ’s as per current monograph/testing methods.
• Process and report analytical data utilizing computer systems (e.g., Empower system, SAP, LIMS, etc.) and verify data generated by other peers.
• Ensure the reliability of the analytical equipment and the integrity of the physical localities through the proper maintenance and housekeeping of the testing areas.
• Perform laboratory equipment daily calibrations, verifications, qualification, validation and troubleshooting.
• Maintain records of all work performed and document testing results as per Good Documentation Practices and of laboratory notebooks and worksheets as per QC SOP’s.
• Participate in process validation, laboratory equipment qualification, and analytical method transfers.
• Provide support in the investigations of non-conforming results and resolution of investigations.
• Use approved validated methods and specifications to perform required testing of finished products, API’s, biological drug substances, raw materials, intermediates / components.
• Verify that Laboratory procedures and specifications are consistent with other site procedures and/or specifications and are in compliance with Guidelines.
