Galax Health and Rehab, a 120-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center located in Galax, VA is recruiting for an energetic and experienced Admissions and Marketing Director.

The Admissions and Marketing Director will manage all incoming referrals and admissions into the facility, and he/she will complete all admissions paperwork with the patient and/or family in a timely manner. Knowledge of the admissions process for skilled nursing facilities is required, along with understanding of Medicare, Medicaid and managed care.

The role also includes marketing efforts, with the expectation of external marketing efforts at least 30-40% of the time.

The ideal candidate will at least 2 years of admissions experience in the skilled nursing center setting. Familiarity with area hospitals, physicians and senior organizations is a plus.
