Accounting – A/R Specialist:

We are a landscape design/construction and luxury home construction company in East Hampton, NY seeking a multi-faceted team player for our fast-paced accounting department.

Responsibilities and skills needed in this A/R role would include the following:

• Bill landscape construction projects based on contracted payment schedules
• Process and bill out change orders
• Process daily worksheets for T&M billing
• Verify time and completed work with the project managers
• Prepare Cost Plus invoicing for home construction
• Research any billing discrepancies
• Enter and accurately code all transactions
• Assist with the review all bills before sending to ensure accuracy with staff and clients/client representatives.
• Coordinate capital improvement forms
• Assist CFO with other duties as needed
• Client communication and collection calls

Qualifications

• At least two years of solid accounting experience in A/R
• QuickBooks proficient
• Knowledge of AIA billing a plus
• Excellent Excel skills
• Demonstrate flexibility, learn and adapt to changing software
• Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
• Ability to analyze financial data and to prepare reports in a timely fashion
