Job Description :

We are looking for a very skilled Accounting/ Microsoft Excel Assistant to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our team Accounting Excel Assistant responsibilities include entering data into Excel Spread sheets, creating Financial Reports, invoices, entering financial transactions into our internal databases and reconciling invoices. If you have an Accounting degree and are interested in bringing your experience in Accounting procedures to our team, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help our Accounting department to smoothly and efficiently. We are looking for a person that would like to work 25 - 35 hours per week. Candidates are required to have an AA or BA in Accounting. We are looking for an experienced, very organized, efficient person that is able to follow instructions. We would also like Candidates to have great grammar skills, experience with letter writing, working knowledge of different Accounting programs, such as Quick Books, Yardi, Appfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain multiple daily Spread Sheets in Excel
  • Create and update income and expense reports
  • Create Financial Reports from Excel Spread sheets
  • Enter financial transactions into internal databases
  • Create invoices for Customers in Quick Books
  • Maintain digital and physical financial records
  • Scan and file daily incoming mail and invoices
  • Prepare multiple credit card detailed statements for payables
  • Help Accounting team in daily projects

Skills

  • Have an AA or BA degree in Accounting
  • Have work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk
  • Be an Accurate, Quiet and efficient worker
  • Have Knowledge of Accounting and Bookkeeping procedures
  • Pay great attention to detail
  • Have excellent math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
  • Be very experienced and excellent with MS Excel and Quick Books
  • Have Excellent Organization skills
  • Be able to handle sensitive, confidential information
  • Be a team Player
  • Have a Willingness to follow directions
  • Be a fast and accurate typist
  • Be excellent at adding numbers on calculator by touch

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
