Job Summary:

We're looking for a beginner to intermediate, full-stack web developer: Are you passionate about web application development? Keep reading! As a Web Developer on our team, you’ll help build production-ready, consumer-facing web applications as well as internal applications for tracking and monitoring production status. You will be responsible for the development of frontend and backend functionality for our web applications.

While working on our team, you will have the ability to drive important changes as well as have an impact on improving the capabilities and security of our new and existing web applications. We are looking for a developer that is detail-oriented, multi-faceted, ambitious, and a team player with the ability to get the job done. A developer that speaks his/her mind, works to understand priorities and objectives, and is not afraid to ask questions is crucial to our success.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Develop backend software, frontend interfaces, and API integrations using PHP, Laravel, Vue, Tailwind, inertia, and other web technologies, as needed.
• Determine technical requirements for proposed features and bug fixes.
• Analyze, design, develop, debug, enhance, and support legacy and new web applications written in PHP and C#.
• Document code appropriately as well as commit all changes to source control.
• Follow best practices and established programming guidelines and standards to produce clean, readable source code.
• Write SQL queries to pull data

Required Skills/Abilities/ Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience programming using MVC frameworks such as Laravel or .Net Core.
• 1+ years of experience with Laravel preferred.
• 1+ years of experience working with relational databases, such as MySQL, MS SQL, etc.
• 1+ years of experience using a frontend JS framework such as Vue.
• 1+ years of experience working with Bootstrap.
• Experience with creating REST APIs.
• Knowledgeable of version control using Git.
• Proficiency writing and optimizing SQL queries.
• Knowledge of programming techniques, tools, and the development life cycle.
• Experience with Linux, Apache, Nginx. (LAMP / LENX)
• Passion for exploring new technology, proactively identifying new opportunities and areas for improvement, and staying up to date with new technology.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members

Education and Experience:

• A.S. in computer engineering, web development, computer science or equivalent experience
• Experience with cloud development (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. - no exceptions.
