Summary of Position:
To oversee and co-ordinate the planning and effective execution of Installation Department.
Co-ordinate activities of Internal FES departments and external stakeholders to achieve Installation and Maintenance objectives.
The job is normally based at the FES Headquarters in Fort Lauderdale with some travel to customer sites across the USA as required.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
· Review projects in order to plan department operations in accordance with the required timeline
· Ensure company monthly/quarterly/annual Installation targets are met
· Responsible for management of Contractor selection process
· Conduct Contractor performance reviews
· Manage financial proposals of Installations performed
· Act as the Operations interface between FES and all internal and external stakeholders including Client, Affiliate, Procurement and Installation Contractor as required to ensure effective on-time delivery of Projects.
· Maintain necessary Program and Project information
· Identify, recommend and implement improvements to department processes and procedures
· Facilitate daily subordinate coaching and development sessions in both written and verbal format.
· Forecast staffing, workload and performance results to meet business demands for workload and performance results for area of responsibility.
· Monitor forward pipeline to ensure adequate Installation and Maintenance Contractor resource planning is conducted
· Manage Maintenance fault recording and reporting
· Submit Management reports as required
Experience and Skills Required:
· Minimum 5 years managing installation and maintenance departments.
· Experience of managing installation of multiple small concurrent projects
· Excellent write and verbal communications skills
· High level of commercial awareness
· PRINCE2 (www.prince2.com) or equivalent
· Drivers license
· Microsoft Word, MS Project and Excel experience to intermediate level
Education and Qualifications:
· Degree preferable
