If you operate at the intersection of strategy and product, love solving consumer pain-points and get excited by the potential of 5G wireless technology, a role within Team Magenta’s Product Strategy & Innovation team could be the gem you’ve been hunting for!

We are a recently-established team who shape commercial consumer strategy to inform and influence critical mid to long term category thinking, decisions and actions. With a track-record for shaping scalable consumer business opportunities, cross-functional selling & collaboration and execution knowhow, you could join us on our quest to shape the future T-Mobile.

As an individual contributor you’ll drive the vision, strategy, definition and evolution of a broad pipeline of emerging categories, products and services from gaming to immersive to health and wellness. From these, you will shape and own key workstreams to identify and deliver big-bet capabilities, ecosystem engagements and offers for development and realization in a 2-5 year timeframe.

Competent with hypothesis-based approaches, you’ll leverage insights & research to analyze and develop strategic frameworks that seek-out, articulate and answer the most impactful questions with workable solutions to challenging business problems. You’ll identify key issues that drive prioritization, trade-offs, resource application and investments to structure a robust approach that establishes goals and aligns operations to meet our corporate objectives.

Providing varying degrees of resolution appropriate to the category, you’ll drive sell-in of vision and strategy to senior leaders, own the outcomes and actions and have the agility and tenacity to align highly-matrixed stakeholders and enable smoothest transition to execution.

Your experience in consulting or product management & strategy within a proven innovation-led consumer business, will enable you to index towards up-stream strategy fluidly assimilating industry dynamics to drive meaningful insights & plans.

Based in Bellevue, WA but open to Overland Park, KS or Denver, CO, you’ll join a small, dynamic team of seasoned pros who thrive in our vibrant office environment 3+ days/week to roll up their sleeves, sift through ambiguity and enable high quality decisions with the creative inflection you’d expect from the Uncarrier.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of relevant Product management and / or product development experience. Preferably with experience at a major technology company and in commerce role.
  • 4+ years in consulting or product management & strategy within a proven innovation-led consumer business
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or equivalent required
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • 18 years of age or older

  • Washington Pay Range: $153,500 - $207,600

  • Colorado Pay Range: $144,300 - $195,200

  • The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range.
  • At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives.   • T-Mobile requires all employees in this position to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to starting work, unless precluded from doing so by applicable law.
