We serve a wide range of markets where small form factor PCs are desired including offices, digital signs, kiosks, conference rooms, gaming, and entertainment. SCOPE/GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:

This position's responsibilities will be split between maintaining legacy code, maintaining and enhancing current projects, and design and development of future projects. The vast majority of coding is in support of inward facing software for use by our company.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

• PHP and MySQL for core software.
• HTML, CSS and Javascript for web-based output. Familiarity with Twig is a bonus.
• The ability to work both independently and in collaboration with others.
• Good communication skills, both with other software members and the company as a whole.
• The desire and ability to improve one's coding skills and learn new things.
• The ability to write clean, readable code as we all strive to improve our adherence to best practices.

OTHER SKILLS RECOMMENDED:

• Familiarity with Laravel Framework is a plus. Future projects are trending in this direction.
• Familiarity with Vue JS, Tailwind CSS is also a plus, as well as Docker.
• Familiarity with GIT

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or five years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with structured development methodologies, bug tracking systems, and MVC frameworks
• Extensive knowledge of computer software languages, platforms, and current methodologies.

• Regularly use hands and fingers to handle or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms
• Frequently required to sit, walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, speak and hear.

• Vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
