Summary: Reporting directly to the Senior Human Resources Business Partner this position will provide consultation and guidance to management, offering a point of contact for HR matters and services. Assist in the execution of corporate and HR programs and processes. Provide day to day Employee Relations interaction and support, compliance, payroll processing, and select HR processes as directed by Sr HR Business Partner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Plan, manage & communicate special projects and programs such as employee recognition, wellness, benefits, recruiting, performance management and employee surveys.
· Develop project plans to include goals and outcomes, timelines, deliverables, and cost implications. Provide project updates to Sr. HR Business Partner and VP HR as dictated by project schedule.
· Draft, develop workflows, create Standard Work and optimization of HRIS systems for automation; Time & Labor, New-Hire Onboarding.
· Support the Sr HR Business Partner on implementation of skills-based and professional development training across the organization. Maintain visual metrics on training programs and refresh programs on an annual basis or as needed.
· Serve as liaison to Sr HR Business Partner to ensure training is rolled out on an ongoing basis to each department.
· Support the Sr HR Business Partner in coaching and advising employees regarding HR policies and procedures as needed.
· Participate in work-related investigations in concert with Sr HR Business Partner.
· Advise Sr HR Business Partner and appropriate Leadership Team members on existing or potential problem areas, such as non-compliance, employee morale, etc.
· Communicate proactively and work with departmental Managers to resolve employee concerns and issues.
· Coordinate employee recognition programs.
· Work with Sr HR Business Partner to develop operational excellence around recruitment, retention and performance management.
· Evaluate and recommend improvements to HR processes and procedures to continually meet the needs of the HR organization.
· Run weekly Payroll process.
· Assists in maintaining a comprehensive employee personnel records system (including central network databases, Paylocity time reporting and HRIS systems), including maintaining personnel information, hours and pay history, insurance/benefit forms, personnel action forms, performance evaluations, promotions, increases, bonuses and disciplinary documents.
· Familiar with and have the ability to maintain end of year reporting for tax purposes.
· Manage all Employee Benefits including, but not limited to, Medical, Dental, Eye, and Life Insurance plans, 401k (and all other offered retirement plans), Safety Rewards, Anniversary Bonuses, and any other Employee Benefits that may become available.
· Primary point of contact for all Employee Benefits and Issues, and any other company policy questions Employees may have regarding their employment.
· Work in a safe manner that promotes the health and well-being of the individual and the environment.
Required Skills / Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience.
· Broad knowledge of such fields as workers compensation, federal and CA wage and hour laws, Benefits administration, Conflict Resolution, performance management and training/professional development.
· Prior experience with HRIS required
· Demonstrated proficiency in computer software programs including but not limited to MS Office Suite, MS Visio, MS Project.
· Ability to create and synthesize HR Data and Analytics through PARETO analysis, Pivot Tables, etc.
· Minimum 5+ years of Human Resources Generalist or Supervisory experience.
· PHR or SPHR certification is a plus
· Bilingual in Spanish & English required

· Excellent organizational skills
· Working knowledge of all human resource functional areas including legal, employee relations, recruiting, EEO, compensation and benefit administration, training and development, and benefits administration.
· Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
· This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
