About the position:
As a Security Officer at Madison Health, you will provide direct and indirect interventions and patrols in a healthcare setting. You will communicate with co-workers, organizational leaders, community liaisons as appropriate to develop an awareness of crime and other safety concerns for our organization.
Hours for this position are Fridays and Saturdays, 12am to 12pm.
Duties will include participating in active patrol of the hospital grounds. Rapidly responding to emergencies that may include fire, medical, safety, security concerns and assisting in the mitigation and resolution of the encounter with minimal supervision. This position may utilize firearms, impact weapons, electrical, chemical and physical control and restraint devices as appropriate for training and allowed by position certification for the purpose of preventing acts of violence, stopping criminal activity, and effectively assisting in the arrest or subduing of persons subject to arrest who will not voluntarily comply.

What qualifications are we looking for?*

  • Ohio Private Security Officer Credential or OPOTA approved Private Security Officer training and certification within 6 months of employment
  • Minimum 2 years of law enforcement or security experience preferred.
