Reporting to the Operations VP, the Analyst’s primary function is to perform a variety of complex tasks requiring initiative, independent thought, and judgment. This position will be dealing with confidential and sensitive issues requiring a high degree of professionalism and discretion.

Job Responsibilities:

1. If Microsoft Excel is a strength and you enjoy problem solving- continue reading.

2. Utilizing Excel and creating pivot tables etc. for data analysis, inventory allocation and order processing is a primary responsibility.

3. Analyzing multiple forms of sales data in order to formulate orders for replenishment of both indoor and outdoor plants.

4. Becoming familiar with our various Customer locations to better assist in decision making and fulfillment needs.

5. Communicating via email and phone with the service team for delivery requests and merchandising objectives.

6. Communicating regularly with our shipping and logistics teams to ensure accuracy of deliveries.

7. Identifying seasonal and market trends to optimize plant distribution decision making.

Basic Skill Level Requirements

Skills:

· Ability to work under pressure and manage emotional control under stressful situations.

· Professional that has good organizational and communication skills.

· Able to work with confidential information.

· Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word and working knowledge using the Internet.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Transportation and logistics experience a plus.

· Advanced knowledge of office best practices and corporate protocol.

Education:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (specialized college certification) or equivalent experience.

· 2 plus years experience.
