Job Summary and Qualifications

Working as an RN Surgical Services Analyst for our HCA HealthONE Wesley hospital, will allow you to collaborate daily with an elite team of healthcare professionals. What you will do in this role:

• You will develop, implement and maintain surgical computer related systems.
• You will coordinate the development, documentation and maintenance of policies, procedures and user manuals for the system.
• You will monitor system activities to ensure data security and validity as well as efficient and appropriate system usage.
• You will provide support for strategies and resource allocations needed to meet system-related goals.
• You will function as a liaison with HCA corporate customer services.
• You will report and troubleshoot OR systems.
• You will create NPS and department reports to provide statistics and data for Administration, QI & QM, Finance and Surgical Services.
• You will coordinate with IT for installation and repairs on computers and systems
• You will conduct analysis of OR statistical reports
• You will ensure data integrity through periodic audits and reviewing/revising policies/procedures in the use of supplied system software
• You will report generation and analysis of Surgical Services statistics, trends and profiling
• You will perform analysis, data entry and audit of all patient charges for Surgical Services and Central Sterile Departments
• You will work closely with the Materials Manager to ensure charges are accurate
• You will review the chart masters and submit to the Materials Manager any adds, changes and deletes

What qualifications you will need for this role:

• BSN with focus on nursing information systems or Bachelors of Science in Information Technology with Associates Degree or Diploma in Nursing
• Current licensure in the State of Kansas a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• CNOR preferred
• Ability to use Database technology, spreadsheets, word processing software
