Pet Station is a locally owned and operated small chain of full-service pet supply stores. We were founded in Truckee, CA in January 2006 and have grown to serve the communities of South Lake Tahoe, Tahoe City, Incline Village, Gardnerville, Susanville and several locations across Reno & Sparks. Our company philosophy centers around customer service and optimal pet care. If you love animals and are customer service oriented, this is the job for you!

Our location at 11429 Donner Pass Road in Truckee, CA is currently seeking a full-time sales associate. We offer flexible hours, competitive wages, employee discounts, an employee pet feeding program, 401K with employer matching, dental & vision to all employees. Full-time employees also receive medical insurance.

Job Duties Include, but are not limited to:

  • Customer Service (sales floor & point of sale/register transactions, etc)
  • Inventory Control (scanning in deliveries, point of sale/register transactions, physical inventory, etc)
  • Product Knowledge (8-week training course, brand ambassador training seminars, individual product research, etc).
  • Store Presentation (cleanliness of store [sales floor, break room, restroom(s), office], fronting, facing and organizing products per company standards.
  • In-Store Animal Care (feeding, watering, cleaning cages of feeder insects [crickets, worms], small animals [mice, rats, guinea pigs, etc] & reptiles.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
