Job Description :

Hughes & Associates LLC is a well- established public adjusting firm that settles residential and commercial property insurance claim disputes.

Hughes & Associates, LLC., is looking for an Office Manager with outstanding organizational skills and the abilitiy to multi-task and prioritize in a detail-oriented work environment while taking pride in the success of a small business. As an Office Manager you must have excellent communication skills. A high level of professionalism is required when speaking with clients as well as representatives from various insurance companies. Communications will also be in the form of composing emails, drafting professional letters, preparing reports on behalf of the Public Adjuster, and other written assignments. Time-management skills and attention to details are extremely important. Active listening skills are also necessary to take direction from the public adjuster and gather necessary information from our clients. The Office Manager will also be responsible for conducting basic office management duties, such as filing and managing claim documents, maintaining databases and scheduling appointments. Other duties will include but are not limited to coordinating with the IT vendor on any office equipment issues, partnering with the Public Adjuster to help develop office policies and procedures, assisting with invoices and billing, and learning and mastering industry specific software programs.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of work experience required in Office Administration and/or Management. College degree in related field preferred
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail
  • Exhibit exceptional verbal communication- on the phone and in-person
  • Exhibit exceptional written communication- spelling, punctuation and use of grammar must be of high quality
  • Accurate typing and word processing skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to prioritize workload and adapt to changing conditions
  • Must be a self-starter and self-motivated
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
  • Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Google applications/programs
  • Experience working within cloud-based system
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check and other pre-employement screening

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
