Position: Mechanical Designer

Scope of Position:

The candidate will be responsible for designing, modeling and creating mechanical drawings to support the project engineers and manufacturing department.

Scope of Responsibilities:

• Proper interpretation of design specification and drawings
• Preparation of Autodesk Inventor/AutoCAD drawings of mechanical arrangements and details
• Proper use of Autodesk file management
• Preparation of Instruction and Maintenance/Operation Manuals
• Generate solid models, detail, sheet metal parts and weldment drawings
• Prepare BOM for material procurement
• Generate material procurement requests
• Generate manufacturing detail drawings
• Generate production drawings
• Generate assembly drawings with BOM
• Generate drawings for manuals
• Review work orders for production flow

Required Skills :

• Minimum AAS in Drafting and Design or Mechanical Engineering
• Proficient in the use of Autodesk Inventor/AutoCAD
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word & Excel
• Basic understanding of Electrical Equipment
• Basic web handling
• Good time management skills with high work ethic
• Ability to follow and retain instructions
