SUMMARY

We are currently looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our team. This person will be responsible for providing assistance to the Business Development team in their efforts to grow and diversify AIPC’s customer and product portfolio. They will take a leadership role of projects as required, including but not limited to new product development projects, market research, marketing communications projects, and customer pitch preparations. As a trainee position there will be possibility for cross- training in other business functions including but not limited to customer service, operations, engineering, finance, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Research emerging markets, categorize potential opportunities based on attractiveness and strategic fit for AIPC.
  • Work with Business Development team to develop go-to-market strategies.
  • Attend trade shows and technical groups, as needed. Maintain awareness of industry trends.
  • Visit OEMs to maintain awareness of new product trends.
  • Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
  • Work with sales channel to assist in new business capture.
  • Develop promotional campaigns including literature, cross-references, advertising and mailings, etc.
  • With BDM support, lead efforts to optimize product cost, delivery, and quality. Drive product design, process, and material improvements to achieve these goals.
  • Stay abreast of competitive situations and potential threats.
  • Identify and develop sales channels for product marketing.
  • Coordinate product opportunities with other Amphenol divisions.
  • Write technical, marketing and sales training plans. Conduct training sessions in-house and with customers.
  • Working with regional sales managers, develops and implements long-term strategic plans, annual budgeting plans and short-term action/program plans to insure the long-term success of these products.
  • Maintain/exceed budgeted revenue and gross margin objectives.
  • Understand and follow applicable Company practices, policies and procedures.
  • Work safely.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4 year technical or business degree, or equivalent required.
  • Must be able to work with a high degree of accuracy, under pressure and with frequent interruptions.
  • Must have a working knowledge of ERP and personal computers.
  • Must possess strong diplomacy and problem solving skills.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
