****Please note this is a hybrid position, but would require you to be in the office located in Fairfield, CA 2-3 times per week.****

Calbee North America is hiring a Marketing Brand Manager – Harvest Snaps. This is a critical role in the Calbee organization responsible for the highly dynamic and growing Harvest Snaps brand, Calbee’s flagship brand in the US. Develop short and intermediate term business initiatives and set foundation for long term brand growth. Gain alignment to a focused, fact-based portfolio strategy consistent with the brand’s equity, competitive advantages, and profit objectives. We are looking for an experienced Brand Manager with drive, creativity, and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Education and Work Experience:

  • MBA Degree preferred and 4-6 years Brand Management experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Brand Manager in an FMCG/CPG company

Working Conditions:

  • Based in Fairfield, CA (hybrid remote and in-office (2-3 days/week)
  • Travel up to 20-25% of the time
  • Reporting into Senior Marketing Manage

1. Manage the Harvest Snaps brand portfolio to meet revenue and profit targets

  • Originate, develop, evaluate, and recommend products (incl. pricing, packaging, etc.) and marketing programs that are based on consumer, customer, and competitive trends, and consistent with volume and profit targets
  • Develop an innovation strategy with a 3-year pipeline focus, exploring areas such as format, packaging, and recipe extensions and adjacencies
  • Lead cross functional team in new product development process, developing marketing plans and selling tools, forecasting volume and growth expectations
  • Conduct quantitative analysis on a regular basis from variety of sources – shipment data, consumption information, and competitive performance – to track achievement of business results vs. budget and understand business drivers (incl. monthly reporting as well as ad hoc analysis based on business trends)
  • Prepare and present annual business review, portfolio management with financial targets, and marketing plans to executive leadership

2. Lead execution of the Harvest Snaps Marketing Plan

  • Initiate and manage marketing programs to effectively build the business and enhance brand equity including advertising and customer activation
  • Lead new product launches from ideation to commercialization and advertising, including developing timelines, managing progress of all functional areas against timelines, and providing direction for developing products, and packaging.
  • Develop sales materials and consumer promotion/product launch materials
  • Be the consumer advocate within the organization. Conduct consumer research as needed to build consumer knowledge and informed decision making
  • Partner with Sales to develop programs that maximize impact and drive incremental sales. Act as marketing liaison with key accounts to further develop business and partnership

3. Management and Leadership

  • Provide leadership x-functionally in a fast-paced environment with stretch goals
  • Set objectives, plan milestones and resources needed, and manage execution

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
