JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for managing the process improvement and lifecycle of the Spectrum Mobile device portfolio and mobile services, with a strong focus on improving the customer experience, driving enhanced workflows and scalable growth. Key responsibilities include resolution of production outages, streamlining processes and the customer experience via technical software solutions, and standardization of processes across partners and internal teams.
Day-to-day tasks will comprise of working with vendors and cross-functional teams, recommending and gaining approval for projects, and improvement of internal and external processes. This role will have a high degree of ownership in maintaining existing workflows in the product lifecycle, including project planning, communication, risk management, and validations. This role is central to product/solution maintenance, scalable solutions, product reliability, and quality assurance.
Knowledge of device activation, feature provisioning, mobile billing systems and cellular network architecture is essential for success in this position. The candidate must have the ability to access and analyze the right data, manage a working team, and recommend and implement solutions – sometimes under short timelines. Strong analytical capabilities is critical.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Deeply understand industry best practices in product development process specific to the Cable or telecommunications space and translate appropriate steps for unique organization and market position.
Translate high level process goals into specific sub-processes with appropriate documentation by collaborative information gathering.
Develop communication plan for stakeholders and process participants.
Proactively identify analysis to support the effort and conduct with deep analytics when appropriate while maintaining an eye toward the bigger picture.
Support the development and communication of Product Strategies dependent on new services/features to drive financial results.
Work with engineering, product management peers, marketing stakeholders and key market areas on implementing strategy.
Lead content and product launches and enhancements of products in the two Charter Operating Units to include working with Corporate Engineering, Corporate and Field Marketing and Field Engineering.
