This position is for the Grocery Outlet located at Dash Point in Federal Way. Address is 1618 SW Dash Point Rd, Federal Way, WA 98023. We start setting the store on April 3, 2023 and open the store on April 20, 2023.

The initial training will happen at the Burien Grocery Outlet located at 236 SW 152nd St., Burien, WA 98166. This will give the future manager of this position time to learn the role and responsibilities, along with an understanding of our culture of this family owned business.

Below listed are the general job duties and functions that you will perform on a daily basis:

Duties & Responsibilities

· Responsible for opening and closing the store and securing all store assets.

· Maintain store security including building security and cash handling.

· Update store management team about the progress of the store and staff on a regular basis

· Ensure that customers receive exceptional customer service through employee talent development.

· Maintaining a clean and well merchandised store environment that meets company standards.

· Maintain employee attitude and morale by recognizing co-workers performance and service; inspire employees so that each person contributes to the productivity of the store.

· Efficiently run store and manage floor when owners are absent; address concerns with employees as needed and follow up with owners.

· Be able to offer flexible availability which would include evenings, weekends and holidays

· Accurately receiving deliveries and communicating discrepancies in a timely manner

· Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed at all times.

· Ensures all front-end and cash controls are being followed to company guidelines.

· Responsible for reconciling cashier drawers, cashier audits, and reconciling safe.

· Writing Grocery Orders and communicating with Grocery Clerk team on executing tasks

Work Conditions

Duties are performed primarily in the assigned department and back room. A Front-end Manager may be exposed to various temperature changes and work environments. Work includes walking, standing, lifting, moving, carrying and stocking product, along with interaction with customers, associates, truck drivers and vendors.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
