Maintenance Project Coordinator
Where will you work: Onsite at our Sulphur Galveston Texas facility (4500 Old Port Industrial Road | Galveston, TX 77554)
As a Maintenance Project Coordinator at our Sulphur site, you will assist in the coordination, planning and implementation of capital projects. and routine maintenance activities at our Galveston, TX Sulphur facility. In this role you will have the opportunity to scope work/projects, participate in bidding activities, manage the work execution of contractors in conjunction with our other sites. You will thrive in this role if you have a customer-centric mindset with industrial maintenance experience.
What you’ll do?
  • Provide support in all phases of capital project management and execution.
  • Provide assistance with managing reactive work such as: identifying and requisitioning materials or services.
  • Assist with managing routine maintenance activities.
  • Identify, plan, schedule then stage parts & materials.
  • Coordinate activities, manage budgets and track progress during execution.
  • Manage contractors performing supplemental and specialty maintenance work.
  • Track maintenance budget for projects.
  • Analyze feedback from contractors and other sources to identify and implement productivity improvement opportunities.
What you’ll need:
  • High School/GED
  • 1+ years of Computerized Maintenance System experience such as EMPAC and/or Maximo
  • Industrial Maintenance experience
Bonus Points if you have the following:
  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline
