LeapWork QA Analyst

Classification Title: Quality Assurance Analyst, E20

Location: 400 South Fort Harrison Avenue, Clearwater, FL 33756 (hybrid remote schedule)

Performs professional work tactical in nature which includes advanced analytical and technical assignments that involve ‘hands-on’ end-to-end testing for a range of new and ongoing projects across multiple technology platforms and within an adopted framework methodology.

This position will be responsible for advising and guiding junior staff on using the LeapWork automation testing tool and testing approaches to ensure the development and delivery of effective technical testing solutions that meet business objectives. This role also works in close consultation and collaboration with key project team members and business stakeholders (such as, developers, project managers, business analysts, business unit owners, etc.) to gather and translate business requirements into automated testing solutions, as well as manage their delivery to agreed schedules and budget. The incumbent is required to identify and resolve major work problems of a nature that others are unable to solve or overcome. This work requires creative and original thinking. It performed under the general direction of more senior professionals with significant latitude for individual and team initiative, judgment and discretion in working with customers to determine hardware, software, maintain functioning operations, as well as to achieve business objectives.

  • Database Administration, Network Management, Desktop Management, Server Management, Application Design, Application Development, Enterprise Architecture, Security Management, Quality Assurance, Incident Management, Financial Management, Project Management, Document Management, Service Management, Asset Management, Production Application Services, Storage Area Network, Middleware Management;
  • Demonstrates advanced level job knowledge, quality, dependability, judgement, communications and initiative, with demonstrated intermediate-level proficiency in meeting design specifications of computer systems, programs and operating systems, with the following core competencies: Analysis, Design, Business Process Improvement, Data Modeling, Development, Planning, Implementation, Test Script Development, Monitoring/Controls, Troubleshooting/Problem Solving, Documentation, and Service Motivation;
  • Demonstrates the ability to document and design automated LeapWork flows and sub-flows for web and desktop applications.
  • Demonstrates the a bility to automate LeapWork flows/test cases which access the data stored in a data source, i.e, Excel, csv, text, database, etc.
  • Demonstrates the ability to utilize LeapWork blocks to place HTTP calls and SOAP/REST web services.
  • Development experience with using Python, JavaScript, SQL.

Position Specific Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Five (5) years of technical and professional experience in information technology in the assigned subject matter tasks that includes customer service experience or training; or an Associate’s degree in information technology, computer science, computer technology, or related field and three (3) years of experience as described above; or a Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, computer technology, or related field and one (1) year of experience as described above; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.

· Florida Driver's License or Florida Commercial Driver’s License and endorsement, if any.

· Assignment to work a variety of work schedules including compulsory work periods in special, emergency, and/or disaster situations.

· Candidate to demonstrate competence and/or possess certifications in one or more specific IT functions.

· Acquire and maintain CJIS Certification.

· Acquire and maintain HIPAA Certification.

· Other highly desirable knowledge, skills, abilities, and credentials relevant to a position.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· Knowledge of standard office practices, procedures, policies, personal computers, operating systems, and related software applications. Recommends changes to improve operational efficiencies;

· Ability to read HTML source to identify various HTML elements.

· Ability to test and understand HTTP calls.

· Ability to test and understand SOAP/REST web services.

· Ability to perform SQL queries to verify data.

· Ability to test and verify PL/SQL and T-SQL stored procedures.

· Ability to use automation tools to automate functional, regression, cross-browser, and cross-OS testing.

· Ability to use automation tools to automate load and stress tests.

· Ability to code basic scripts using a scripting language, i.e., Python.

· Basic knowledge of Windows or Linux shell scripting using PowerShell, Bash, etc.

· Basic knowledge of C# and/or Java programming.

· Ability to use Git (GitLab implementation preferred).

· Basic knowledge and ability to test across various operating systems, browsers, and mobile devices.

· Knowledge of AWS navigation and ability to use and test commonly used services.

· Knowledge of and ability to work within Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid SDLC processes.

· Ability to use test management tools to create and manage test cases and test requirements.

· Ability to use defect tracker tools (including SharePoint lists).

· Ability to manage personal daily activities and minor projects as well as self-develop relevant job-related skill(s) for current role;

· Skill in applying theory and using reference materials to research and solve minor problems.

· Ability to mentor and train teammates; works within teams to achieve success.

Physical/Mental Demands

The work is sedentary work which requires exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Additionally, the following physical abilities are required:

· Fingering: Picking, pinching, typing, or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand as in handling.

· Repetitive motion: Substantial movements (motions) of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers.
