Job Description :
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform general cleaning of company facilities and homes/villas.
- Perform cleaning of floors, ceilings, restrooms, carpet, and furniture.
- Able to operate cleaning equipment (vacuum, scrubber etc.)
- Gather and empty trash.
- Keep storage areas and carts well stocked, clean and tidy.
- Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, linens and bathroom items.
- Request repair services.
- Able to work evenings, holidays, and late nights.
- Cleaning building floors and ceilings by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming them.
- Gather and empty trash.
- Cleaning of bathrooms.
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
- Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges and squeegees.
- Dust furniture, walls, machines and equipment.
- Notify supervisor concerning the need for repairs to the building.
- Power washing: cleaning of exterior sidewalks, service areas, decks, and other surfaces as needed.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Use a variety of cleaners and cleaning equipment.
- Maintain supplies in tidy fashion.
- General cleaning and knowledge of both home and janitorial areas.
- Assist in reporting any needed repairs.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with other staff and rental guests.
OTHER CHARACTERISTICS
- Willingness to work outside (if necessary) in inclement weather.
- Maintain appearance and able to interact with guest and inform them of activities that are going on within the resort.
- Able to identify safety hazards throughout the resort and perform duties in a safe manner.
