We are seeking a full-time HR Generalist who can wear multiple hats, looks outside the box, likes to have fun at work, but has an excellent attention to detail. Duties include but not limited to:
Talent Acquisition/Management

  • Oversee all stages of the candidate experience, including: gathering application materials, conducting and scheduling interviews, references/background checks, and coordinating on-boarding schedules.
  • Ensure candidates are tracked and monitored via applicant tracking system
  • A strong desire to develop relationships to build a talent pipeline with community and school programs
  • Participate in job fairs and college recruitment events and activities
  • Develop recruiting campaigns using talent software
  • Conduct stay/exit interviews and track data trends
  • Manage performance management and improvement systems
  • Conduct onboarding of new hires and work with managers to develop orientation schedules

Compensation & Benefits

  • Manage timecards and process biweekly payroll; complete required reports for accounting
  • Administer benefit/disability plans, including enrollments and terminations
  • Administer FMLA leave, WC, and other company leave policies
  • Oversee unemployment compensation claims and respond to claims timely
  • Administer benefit enrollment in payroll system as well as promote
  • Assist in the preparation of job descriptions and job analysis to ensure pay equity within the organization
  • Participate in compensation and benefit surveys to ensure pay and benefit practices are competitive with marketplace
  • Oversee termination process from payroll and benefit perspective

Employee Engagement

  • Responsible for employee engagement activities and track costs for budgeting
  • Coordinates employee events such as holiday party, summer activities, etc. to promote engagement and camaraderie
  • Organizes service award program and other employee recognition programs to enhance employee relationships
  • Assessing company culture and make recommendations to develop strategies to promote a positive work environment

Additional Responsibilities

  • Oversee wellness program to track eligibility for reimbursements and assist in the development of wellness initiatives
  • Serve as safety liaison and suggest safety enhancements as necessary
  • Oversee logo wear ordering and replacement
  • Complete other administrative tasks/projects as needed

Qualified individual should possess:

  • One to three years of human resources experience preferred. Education related to human resources management coupled with internship experience may also be considered
  • Desire to develop relationships to build talent pipeline and enhance employment brand within the community
  • Willingness to make process improvements to enhance overall human resources exposure to internal and external customers
  • Knowledgeable of state/federal laws or at least have a fundamental understanding of employment laws to minimize any potential risk
  • Develop strong, trusting relationships with team members and management
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills and self-starter
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain social media activity and offer some creativity in generating followers, etc.
  • Bilingual preferred but not necessary
