The Arc of Washington County has provided services to the intellectually and developmentally disabled community since 1952. We are looking for caregivers to continue this rewarding work. No experience required and we will provide training for this position and also opportunities for growth. Pay starts at $16.00 per hour with overtime available ! You will be responsible for the personal care of our persons supported; providing medications, preparing meals, assisting with personal hygiene, and providing activities (movies, park outings, shopping, doctor’s appointments).

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED
• 18+ years of age (21+ for children’s programs)
• Must have a valid driver's license with a minimum of 1 year of driving experience beyond a permit and a safe driving record
• Attend new hire training M-F 8:30 am - 5:00 pm for the first two-and-a-half weeks of employment
• Must pass a basic reading comprehension and math test, background check, and pre-employment screenings, including an ergonomic test.
