Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform all engineering and technical assignments related to the product line. Provide support to Production, Process Engineering, Quality and Accounting.
· Responsible for providing leadership and oversight to the Engineering Department
· Responsible for complete engineering execution of all fabricated products
· Approve all quotes, manufacturing drawings, and support documentation for all product lines
· Oversee purchase requisitions for material and special-order components
· Manage all CAPEX projects providing data for decision making and ensuring on time and on budget projects.
· Initiate product launch meetings as needed and ensure execution of all meeting action items
· Interact with Customer via email, phone, and site visits to coordinate and verify all customer specifications are met
· Ensure products are following all federal and/or state code requirements
· Oversee Annual CARB EPA, DOT Certification
· Provide expected completion dates to production and track progress to guarantee on time delivery
· Identify potential and existing problems and provide solutions through process team.
· Closely work with cross functional teams such as Process Engineering, Quality, Production, and Accounting for execution of plans, develop process improvements and identify cost savings
· Must be willing to be hands on to ensure accuracy and quality of product
· Maintain working knowledge of emerging technologies, trends and engineering developments relating to our industry segment from various sources including customer interactions, networking, and trade shows.
· Assist in strategic planning by conducting market research, analysis of competitors and tracking changes in customer needs to identify opportunities and threats.
· Assist with implementation of strategic plan, monitor for compliance, and provide continual feedback for course corrections throughout the timeline.
· Responsible for performance appraisals, talent assessment, career path planning, employee recognition, discipline, and conflict resolution.
· Observe and enforce all safety policies and Procedures in compliance with company rules, while seeking continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering related field
· 7-10 years of experience in an Engineering Leadership role
· Knowledge of AutoCAD and Solidworks
· Experience in metal fabrication preferred
· Excellent project management and problem solving skills desired
· Experience with PPAP’s a plus
· Must be a strong leader and detail oriented
· Capable of working in a team environment
· Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize workload
· Assume and manage multiple tasks, adapt to change and consistently meet deadlines
· Direct and lead initiatives, willingness to engage and drive results
