Consulting Associate

Sisterson & Co. LLP, a regional CPA firm, is seeking a qualified candidate to join our Consulting Services Practice. Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• MBA or master’s degree in accounting preferred, not required
• 1+ year of relevant experience performing collateral field exams preferred
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• High level of professionalism to provide excellent customer service to clients
• Enthusiasm for the opportunity of business travel to regional and national clients

This position’s primary responsibility will be assisting with collateral field examinations for commercial lenders. A collateral field examination is an on-site visit that focuses on the review and testing of the quality of the Bank’s collateral, reliability of the Company’s books and records, and adequacy of financial controls. Successful candidates also have the potential to work on other consulting services projects such as quality of earnings, fraud investigations, forensic accounting, valuations and acquisition due diligence.
