One of the things that sets Johnny’s apart is that it’s always sparkling clean, and as Store Caretaker, it’ll be your job to make your store shine each day. During your shift, you’ll work your magic to keep your location looking its best inside and out. From cleaning and polishing the interior to stocking shelves to planting flowers and shoveling snow, you have what it takes to keep your store fresh, bright, and welcoming.

What You’ll Do

• Clean indoor windows, floors, shelving, counters, coolers, and restrooms on a regular schedule.
• Help manager keep coolers, shelves, and displays fully stocked as needed.
• Wipe down fuel pumps and replace windshield cleaning fluid and paper towels as needed.
• Pick up trash and empty garbage cans into dumpster.
• According to the season, sweep/wash/shovel/salt the parking lot and sidewalks, plant flowers/pull weeds, or maintain landscaping.
• Alert your manager if anything in the store needs to be repaired or replaced (including cleaning supplies).
• Check refrigerators and freezers for proper performance as directed by manager.

What You’ll Need

• Ability to hear the spoken word and warning signals on equipment.
• Ability to tolerate exposure to gasoline and cleaning products fumes.
• Ability to work in a cooler at a temperature of 20 degrees F for up to ten minutes at a time.
• High school graduate or equivalent is preferred; or one year’s experience in maintenance and/or training.
• Ability to work with moderate to minimal supervision.
• Frequently required to stand and walk, and must be able to climb or balance: stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Ability to exert up to 65 pounds of force occasionally, up to 45 pounds of force frequently, and up to 20 pounds of force regularly to move objects.
