We are in need of Caregivers to work with our clients in Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton and Emmaus. We have day and evenings shifts available Monday-Sunday.

JEVS Care at Home is a non-profit organization that provides non-medical homecare services to those in need throughout the Philadelphia region. Over the last 10 years of serving our clients, we’ve seen rapid growth across the state of Pennsylvania and have expanded into the Pittsburgh, Allentown and Delaware regions. JEVS Care at Home is now offering a PAID TRAINING COURSE to become a Caregiver! Working as a caregiver, you will provide companionship and care to elderly adults within their homes. Training will be virtual and you will learn about topics such as nutrition, dental care, bathing, dressing, toileting, transfers, and much more. We also offer Dementia Capable care classes, where you can learn about caring for individuals with Dementia. Training will be conducted by our Nursing department.

Your Responsibilities

• Assist clients in their homes with personal care - bathing, dressing, grooming
• Help with light housekeeping, food shopping, meal preparation, medication reminders and laundry
• Offer companionship and supervision
• Report to Client Care Manager regarding direction of care, client updates and concerns, scheduling, etc.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to effectively communicate with Client Care Manager
• Must satisfactorily complete JEVS Care at Home written exam and orientation program
• Must pass background check/clearances as required by state regulations
• Must demonstrate the 3 C's: Commitment, Communication and Care.
• Ability to get to and from the client's home
